What is the difference between multi-core and single-core conductors?

The biggest difference between multi-core and single-core conductors lies in their conductor structure and flexibility. Multi-core conductors are made of multiple thin copper wires twisted together, offering high flexibility and good bending resistance. They are particularly suitable for applications involving frequent movement, confined spaces, or where spatial constraints need to be considered, such as robotic arms. Single-core conductors, on the other hand, consist of a single solid copper conductor, offering structural stability and excellent conductivity. They are commonly used in fixed cabling or power transmission systems.

When choosing between them, the application environment and assembly requirements must be considered: multi-core conductors are better if flexibility and bending resistance are required; single-core conductors are more suitable if high conductivity is required. Each has its advantages in structure, durability, and conductivity; a comprehensive judgment should be made based on the actual engineering conditions.
